Department of Medical Imaging

Remera Rukoma District Hospital’s Clinical Imaging Department has at present 2 staff radiological technicians (including the Chairman of the department). Remera Rukoma Hospital Clinical Imaging Department provides the range of diagnostic Imaging services as well as therapeutic techniques using the full range of diagnostic modalities – General radiography, Ultrasound Thoraco-abdominal radiology, Osteo- arthroradiology

The department provides clinical imaging services for inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients on a days/12hours a day roster and if there are emergency cases we call for help.

Responsabilities:

• Receive and record patients.
• Manage hardware and radiological products.
•  Act on   radiographs development.
• Perform radiological examinations as part of Complementary Package of Activities      
• Manage health statistics information of radiology.
• Participate in meetings and other activities of the hospital.
• Make an inventory of equipment and materials.
• Participate in the medical staff.
• Do anything else requested by his supervisor in the work.
