The Ophthalmology Department was established in 2014; this department is open five (5) days per week, 9 working hours per day to outpatients.

The scope of Clinical Ophthalmology department practice includes:

* General ophthalmology,

* Treatment,

* Refraction,

* Outreach and education in ophthalmology and visual science.

Our fully qualified Ophthalmologist A1 is state registered Chartered Ophthalmologist and are also a member of the Health Professions Council, which means they are recognized by the Ministry of Health.

The hospital ophtalmology is run by a qualified ophtalmology technician and registered nurses.

It's responsible for eye care services in the hospital, including:

• Basic eye care
• Eye check up
• Consultation and diagnosis 
• Eye wounds traetment
• Eye glasses
