The Department of Internal Medicine at Remera Rukoma District Hospital includes physicians whose primary role is to provide medical care in the hospital. This team of providers includes physicians, nurses, social workers, physical therapists and other staff to provide useful, safe, collaborative and effective medical care. This department has:  15beds in female ward and 8 in men ward

Patients are referred to Internal Medicine by the emergency department, after receiving primary care.
