FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

The Department of financial and administration in Remera Rukoma District Hospital includes the Hospital Administrator Manager, Accountants, Procurement, Human Resources Officer, receptionists, recovery times, maintenance staff, cashiers, store keeper, whose primary role is to support all clinical services for medical care in the hospital. This team of providers includes financial team, and administrative staffs, the department provides:

  • Prepares the Work and Financial Plan and provision of fund estimates for hospital programs and projects.
  • Systematic recording of all financial transactions; preparation of financial statements and relevant reports; and maintenance and safekeeping of the hospital’s book of accounts
  • Procurement, storage, inventory, distribution and disposition of hospital supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Receipt, deposit, custody and disbursement of cash/collection of the hospital (Cash management)
  • Development and administration of a comprehensive manpower development program which includes recruitment and selection, promotion, training, employee welfare and benefits, manpower planning and research.
  • Installation, operations and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and communication equipment and allied facilities including buildings and vehicles.
  • This department is open five (5) days per week, 9 hours of the work per day except reception service
